Why I photograph people
I photograph weddings because they're one of the few days where everyone you love is in the same place—and the smallest gestures carry the biggest meaning. My job is to notice those moments, protect your time, and deliver images that feel true to who you are. I also work with individuals, families, and couples who want images with the same editorial quality—intentional compositions, beautiful natural light, and a relaxed session experience. Whether it's a maternity milestone, a family portrait, or personal branding, I bring the same calm energy. Based in the Vancouver metro area, I work throughout Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland—and travel for destination weddings and creative projects across BC and beyond.

- Wedding photography in Greater Vancouver typically starts around $1,800 CAD for intimate ceremonies and goes up to $5,800+ CAD for full-day coverage with two photographers, albums, and engagement sessions. At Verheles Photo, we offer packages from $1,800 (5 hours, 200+ photos) to $5,800 (unlimited coverage, 1000+ photos, album, engagement session). Custom packages are also available. - How far in advance should I book a photographer in Vancouver?
- For weddings, we recommend booking 6–12 months ahead, especially for peak season (May–October). Portrait, family, and maternity sessions can often be scheduled within 1–2 weeks depending on availability.
- Do you travel for destination weddings outside Vancouver?
- Yes! While based in the Greater Vancouver area, I travel throughout British Columbia and beyond for destination weddings and elopements. Travel fees may apply depending on distance—get in touch for a custom quote.
- What types of photography sessions do you offer?

- How long is a portrait or family session?
- Portrait, family, and lifestyle sessions are typically 60 minutes and include 30+ edited photos, delivered via an online gallery. Engagement and pre-wedding sessions run 60–90 minutes with an assistant included. See our Services page for all session details.
- When will I receive my photos?
- Wedding galleries are typically delivered within 4–6 weeks. Portrait and family sessions are delivered within 1–2 weeks. Fast delivery is available as an add-on if you need images sooner.
